As a fitting ode to Elena’s favorite season, the two chose to have their nuptials the very next fall at Foundation Ranch in Choccolocco, Alabama, so they could let the autumn scenery take center stage. Chocolate and ivory hues with touches of orange provided the rich color palette. Details including bales of hay and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows enhanced the down-home feel.

Adam painted wooden arrows to point guests in the direction of the ceremony and reception. Guests signed a framed picture of the couple's engagement photo. The two also had a painting of an old country church with a sign out front that read: Welcome to Our Wedding: Elena and Adam October 27, 2007.
