Eileen and Jeff always ran with the same crowd -- even lived across the street from one another -- but didn't meet until a memorable '80s-themed Halloween party a few years later. The Bride Eileen Mooney, 35, sales The Groom Jeff Neuweiler, 33, sales The Date May 15 Even in costume (She as Melanie Griffith in Working Girl, he as a sheik -- not exactly an '80s costume! Eileen says), each knew right away that this was it. Just six months later, Jeff proposed to Eileen and the duo began planning an intimate evening wedding in Boulder.

The Ceremony
Another one of Eileen's sisters helped her pick her Jessica McClintock gown. On the rack it hadn't impressed me, but once I put it on, I was done shopping! Eileen says. Eileen found her dream dress at the very first (and only) place she looked.
Both ceremony and reception took place at the Hotel Boulderado, a structure erected in 1909 that Eileen and Jeff loves for its old west charm. Eileen and Jeff exchanged vows at the landing of the great staircase, with guests seated on the floor nearby and on the bird's-eye landing above. The sweet, personal ceremony included the bride's sister's performance of a song Eileen had penned about her love for Jeff. It was so special as another way to show my friends and family how much Jeff means to me, Eileen says. She did an amazing job!
All of Eileen's attendants found their black gowns from the Dessy Collection online.
All bouquets and arrangements had a just-picked, wildflower style and included lavender and yellow blooms such as roses, delphiniums, Queen Anne's lace, larkspurs, lisianthus, and carnations.
