Claire Bowers (40 and a sales director) and Joe Carpenter (36 and a director of operations and sustainability) looked to their Scottish heritage and passion for green thinking to create a wedding filled with wooden accents, potted plants and seasonal blooms. Case in point: Trimmings from the bridesmaid bouquets were used to create a whimsical floral backdrop for their ceremony. The natural décor, plus pops of navy blue and green, brought their rustic-chic wedding to life. Joe ditched the traditional tuxedo, opting for a blue kilt, Argyle jacket and traditional Scottish sgian-dubh. Monogrammed salted caramel and coconut cupcakes doubled as favors.
