Downtown Houston Ballroom Wedding with Timeless Flair

Ana-Sofia Mariotto (29 and a project manager) and Zac Query (28 and works in finance) are a low-key pair, so they wanted their downtown Houston wedding to feel simple but elegant. They chose a neutral palette and elevated the look with eye-catching arrangements of willow branches, white dendrobium orchids and eucalyptus, which created a forest-like feel in the historic Crystal Ballroom.
"You usually see baby's breath used a s a filler in flower arrangements, but I think it's prettier alone in a bundle," Ana-Sofia says of her bouquet.
Sofas created relaxed vignettes in the center of the ballroom. Stations dished out chimichurri, chicken satay, bacon-wrapped quail, mac-and-cheese balls and avocado toast. Roses cascaded down the cinnamon cake with buttercream icing. the chocolate groom's cake took the shape of a golf bag. Zac gave Ana-Sofia a surprise dip as they headed out to a 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom.
