DIY Details Adorned This Desert Wedding at Caravan Outpost in Ojai, California

Leah Rubin-Cadrain (32 and a creative lead at Snapchat) and Lindsey Weinstein (37 and in marketing at Apple) threw a casual desert wedding filled with cool patterns and chill vibes. “We wanted the celebration to feel like a cozy, outdoorsy family getaway,” Leah said. “We didn’t want any fuss getting in the way of our quality time together.” Leah’s sister- in-law even created a book of songs that were played throughout the weekend on tambourines and guitars by the campfire.  The party kicked off with grapefruit vanilla bean palomas and cucumber-gin lemonades during cocktail hour.  The couple wore custom-made crowns, a tribute to the ones Leah’s hippie parents wore at their wedding, in addition to brightly patterned coats once the sun went down.The couple hand-picked elements of a Jewish wedding that were meaningful to them, including signing a ketubah, circling each other and breaking the glass.
