To include her mother in the elopement, Danielle planned a day to go wedding-dress shopping with her. Together, they found an all-lace white Diane Von Furstenberg dress. “The saleswoman said how great it was for a bridal shower or engagement party,” says Danielle. “We chuckled and smiled at each other as her comment confirmed how perfect the dress was for me and our occasion: unsuspecting and beautifully simple.”
