The Bride: Danielle Destrade, 23, a social media coordinator at an advertising agency The Groom: Kyle Ali, 25, a social studies teacher The Date: June 19 Kyle proposed to Danielle soon after graduating from the University of Missouri, where she was still in school. Their new long-distance status didn't stop them from planning almost everything themselves, with a little help from family and friends. The result? From the reclaimed-wood wedding signs to the jars of homemade jam favors, the wedding had a welcoming, homey vibe from start to finish.

The water inside the centerpiece vases turned hot pink, but not on purpose! The cut limes, when combined with the flowers, colored the water unexpectedly, but the guests were fooled -- and impressed.
The couple cooked up homemade grape jelly themselves for the favors. The jars doubled as escort cards, with the name of the guest, the table number, and the phrase Spread the love on each lid.
Danielle's great-grandmother's brooch embellished the bride's all-white bouquet. She wore a cap-sleeved lace gown by Pronovias.
Ball jars wired to shepherd's hooks were filled with wildflowers to seamlessly blend with the house's natural landscaping.
Danielle chose A-line dresses in a plum hue for her bridesmaids, who walked down the aisle with bouquets of roses, orchids, and green hypericum berries.
Danielle's aunt baked a white cake with lemon curd filling and decorated it with ribbon, peonies, roses and hypericum berries.
Growing up, Danielle always dreamed of getting married at her childhood home in Tennessee. Horses looked on from behind a nearby fence as she and Kyle said their vows.
Danielle's stepfather made this sign out of reclaimed fence lumber, and her mother did the painting. Similar signs directed guests around the property.
A hearty brunch of French toast and quiche was served beneath a tent after the morning ceremony. Dancing was saved for the evening after-party.
