Country Barn Wedding at Oaks Ranch in Santa Margarita, California.

Stacey Phillips (28, unit manager) and Ryan Lester (32, business owner) instantly caught each other's attention while they were both at an '80s cover

Stacey Phillips (28, unit manager) and Ryan Lester (32, business owner) instantly caught each other's attention while they were both at an '80s cover band concert in Palm Springs, California. They began dating shortly afterwards, and five years later Ryan surprised Stacey with a  trip to New York City in December, including basketball tickets, going to see a broadway, and taking a helicopter ride over Manhattan. One night, Dustin booked an elegant dinner cruise for the two of them that brought them down the Hudson River. As they made their way to the captain's balcony of the boat to take a picture in front of the Statue of Liberty, Dustin got down on one knee and asked for Stacey's hand in marriage. The couple got married at spanish Oaks Ranch in Santa Margarita, California where they had a country styled wedding with rolling green hills, a small pond and a barn for the reception. "I grew up with horses living in the country, and he [Dustin] has always been into old hot rod muscle cards and the Route 66 theme," says Stacey. "So we mixed it together with burlap table runners, mason jar vases, chalk board signs, lace wrapped voices and old vintage license plates that I collected on cross country road trips with my dad."

Stacey made each wedding invitation by hand, cutting each layer of material for the flowers and tying every single invitation with twine to top it all off.
