Confetti and Basketball Lent a Unique Twist to This Classic Wedding in Kansas City, Missouri

Emma Plese (27 and a teacher) and Livi Abney (31 and working in business management) know a thing or two about merriment. The couple entered their festive reception with a shower of confetti and ended the night joined by all their guests in a group hug, with non-stop dancing in between. It’s easy to see why their dance floor was “packed the entire night.” Even in Livi’s self-penned vows to Emma, she said, “I know you will be an amazing mother to our children. I sure hope they get your dancing skills.” However, the fun got started earlier in the day when Livi and her wedding party took to the court for a few photos in honor of her love of hoops. As for the wedding's fashion, before changing into a jumpsuit at the reception, Livi (left) wore a dress with an illusion neckline. Emma, meanwhile, chose a sheath dress with a plunging neckline and jeweled belt for the wedding.
