Rachel and Drew knew early on that they wanted a camp-themed wedding, but also knew their families would appreciate something a bit more formal. After finding Tyler Hill, which allowed the couple’s guests a camp experience without having to rough it in nature, the pair planned a day that combined both fun and formality. Case in point: The duo not only covered the camp in brightly colored flowers and ribbons, but also made things official with a tradition-rich Jewish ceremony.
Rachel and Drew’s playful paper goods provided a preview of their day’s palette, packing a punch with bright shades of green, yellow, blue and pink—and explaining just what outdoor essentials guests should pack for the rustic-meets-modern aair. Rachel upped her shoe game as she slipped into a pair of glittery pink, party-ready platform heels for the reception. “I wanted our day to be classy, but still a fun party, so my outfit had to reflect that,” she says.
The inside of Rachel and Drew’s dessert mirrored its colorful exterior: The couple cut into a cake complete with layers of funfetti and sprinkles. Guests sat at monochromatic tables topped with matching tonal décor, including bud vases, menus and glassware. Rachel’s ladies rocked navy-blue mid-length dresses and carried colorful flower hoops that echoed the day’s other bright monochromatic elements.
