Colorful and Fun Kansas City-Themed Wedding at the 28 Event Space in Kansas City, Missouri

When it came to Rachel and Jordan's wedding color scheme, the pair took a ‘more is more’ approach. “I had a tough time finding the right palette,” Rachel says. “I couldn’t pick just two colors.” The couple decided on a theme all their own, calling it “colorful Kansas City fun.” Their invites popped with brights and, as an added flair, they included a helpful guide with five of their favorite things for guests to do in KC.

Rachel and Jordan made their big debut to the sound of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga’s “But Beautiful.” “It was playing when Jordan told me he loved me for the first time,” Rachel says.  For their “something blue,” Rachel and Jordan paired their footwear with navy, local-inspired socks, which read, “KC, I’m so in love.”

Though the couple picked a traditional white wedding cake for dessert, their display cake was anything but, with layers of rainbow watercolor painting and a finishing touch of colorful sprinkles.
