Colonial Dames of the America Reception

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests moved indoors for the reception. No Macarena kicked the party into high gear after dinner, getting the couple’s friends and family members moving and grooving to Robyn, Prince and more. “When my mom and dad got married, they played ‘Rock Lobster’ by the B-52s and the Ciesemiers in attendance stripped down to novel boxer shorts and danced so profoundly that a new tradition was born,” Kali says. “At every Ciesemier wedding since, all the Ciesemiers and anyone else who wants to participate will strip down to boxers and dance to 'Rock Lobster.' It gets pretty wild and is a ton of fun.”
