“As you enter the plantation, there is that famous Alley of Oaks you have to drive through with moss hanging down the trees and azaleas blooming on the sides, which puts your in the right mood from the beginning,” Maria says. “And then there is the historical house with an endless front lawn and the longest aisle a girl can walk, and the most incredible views all around. We both felt it would make a perfect place for our ceremony.”
