“We wanted our style to match the location and the rustic, laid-back feel of the location and venue,” Lauren says. Kathryn opted for a classic J.Crew gown with a strapless A-line silhouette and the piece de resistance — pockets — while Lauren chose a more bohemian style featuring flowy tiers of crocheted lace. “They matched the setting and, most important, were comfortable,” Lauren says. “Knowing we would be on gravel, grass and in the barn, we decided to wear Toms as a way to tie the two looks together.”
