Christy Carlson only needed to look up to find the man of her dreams. She was moving into the bottom portion of a duplex when she met Chris Carr, one of the upstairs tenants. A fast friendship ensued, and by the time Christmas rolled around they were a couple. The Ceremony
We went with nontraditional bridesmaid dresses which worked well for everyone, especially the pregnant sister/matron of honor, Christy says. The olive green halter-cut dresses by A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz fell below the knee.
We gave out poker chips with a “CC” on the front that was the same style as what was on our invitations. On the back it said 'We're lucky to have you here,' Chris says.
The bridesmaid bouquets were smaller bunches of magenta peonies and lily grass.
