Cherry Blossoms Inspired This Glam Wedding at the Southern Exchange Ballrooms in Atlanta

Sade Jones (30 and a pharmacist and Pure Romance consultant) and Mandela Wise (32 and an elementary art school teacher and high school football coach) took wedding inspo from works of fiction they enjoy. “I really wanted the magic feel of Harry Potter, but with a twist of romance,” Sade says. Tall faux cherry blossom trees, Golden Snitches on the cake and custom key bottle opener favors brought the magic, while a Scooby Doo pin replaced a boutonniere on Mandela’s suit. After the ceremony, guests sat for dinner in a glam enchanted forest of pink cherry blossom trees, sparkling gold Chiavari chairs and overflowing arrangements of pink and white roses while signs at the entrance of Southern Exchange Ballrooms announced the newlyweds to Peachtree Street. To honor Mandela’s fave cartoon and his nickname, Scooby, the newlyweds cut into a cinnamon-flavored Mystery Machine.
