Cherry Blossom-Inspired Centerpieces
“I quickly realized that I knew little to nothing about flowers,” Ashley says. “My preference was for tall centerpieces that would emphasize the height of the venue’s ceilings.” Cherry blossoms were the couple’s first pick, but since the flower is out of season in mid-July, the florists and House of Flowers had to think outside the box. To create the illusion of cherry blossoms, the team mixed curly willows, vines, branches and greenery with lengths of white orchids, which they displayed in tall trumpet vases.
