Chatham Bar Inn Beach Ceremony

The ceremony took place on Chatham Bar Inn’s beach at 4PM, with Louise’s longtime friend from Australia, Nerida Schmidt, officiating. As a nod to Louise’s Australian roots, the couple flew two Australian flags overhead and during their sand ceremony they incorporated sand from Perth, Australia and Brewster, Mass., Katie’s hometown. The couple planned a fun surprise for guests as they made their way back down the aisle after saying their “I do’s,” with Katie’s former band mates popping up and following them marching-band style, playing Phillip Phillips’ “Gone, Gone, Gone.”
