Fate wrote the script for film-industry couple Chantel Gallegos and Zachery Nasits, who kept meeting up at various shoots. Their San Antonio wedding featured lights, cameras, and action. The Bride Chantel Gallegos The Groom Zachery Nasits The Date May 7 They first met on a commercial shoot when Zach (now a camera assistant) was an intern. “We never spoke, but we eyed each other for hours,” remembers Chantel (a production assistant for TV/film). A year and a half later, the two reconnected while working on the same movie. “We flirted for an entire week before I gave him my number!” she says. After a whirlwind 18 months, Zach was on a business trip over Valentine’s Day. Chantel met him at the airport on his return and found him standing in baggage claim with red roses and a redder face. “As soon as I saw him, he dropped down on one knee, and I yelled, ‘What are you doing!?’” she recalls. Chantel says the location was significant too—something film directors call an “homage.” “That second time we met, we were shooting a scene in an airfield about a couple in love,” she says.

Chantel and Zach's ceremony was held under a grapevine and flower–covered huppah. During the traditional Reform Jewish ceremony, the couple circled one another to represent that each is the center of the other’s universe. They also received the seven blessings and broke a glass.
