The couple chose to get married near Erin's hometown in Connecticut. They wanted a church ceremony and a reception by the water. Stanwich Congregational Church is so beautiful as is, we didn’t want to do too much to it, says Erin, They decorated with wreaths on the church door, small bouquets on the pews and a white aisle runner.
