CeCe and JP's wedding was warmed by lovely shades of yellow ranging from golden to butter. The Bride Cecilia (CeCe) Ragland, 23 The Groom John (JP) Perry, 23 The Date September 3 In North Carolina, there is a strong common bond that all high school students share: the Friday night football game—which is where Cece first laid eyes on JP. The pair met at the annual Aggie Eagle Classic during their senior year (though both attended different high schools). That rainy night, Cece (now a senior at NC State) had a friend literally bump into JP (also a student at NC State and an Air Force ROTC cadet). I told my girlfriends how cute the one with the curly hair was, but I was too shy to start a conversation, says Cece. I felt like I looked bad after being in the rain all day. Luckily, JP didn’t think so, and a few weeks later he and Cece made their debut as a couple at (where else?) another football game! I wanted to show off Cece and let her know she was my girlfriend and that I really liked her, says JP of that night. Three years later JP proposed, and the couple wed a year and a half later in a full Catholic mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Raleigh.
