We fell in love learning the Viennese waltz and the tango, CC remembers. After Marty's romantic proposal following a hike to the top of New Hampshire's Mt. The Flower Girl Details
In addition to readings from Corinthians and The Art of Marriage, CC's mother read a poem she had written in Chinese, inspired by the bride's late grandfather. Two friends who had been in a Chinese folk-dance troupe with the bride in college performed a piece they'd choreographed for the occasion.

The Escort Cards
CC and Marty had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony for their rehearsal dinner. The next day, the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony that blended American and Chinese traditions on the lawn of the Crane Estate. The couple stood beneath a cedar trellis adorned with hydrangeas and sedum, and guests enjoyed views of the ocean and the rolling hills surrounding the manor.
An opulent color scheme complemented the Asian-inspired details, with the bridesmaid dresses and flowers picking up deep red and bronze hues. CC's nine attendants wore jewel-neck Bill Levkoff gowns in wine-color satin and carried similarly colored bouquets of roses. The night before the wedding, CC and her best friends hit Filene's Basement for comfy sandals to wear on the beach.
The Ceremony
CC kicked off their wedding theme with her choice of gown. I've always loved Audrey Hepburn's Sabrina dress and wanted something simple but reminiscent of that, she says. She found a Harvard Square dressmaker who shared her vision, executing the retro-modern design in raw Chinese silk.
