Catherine & Tom in Lexington, KY

Though neither of them are originally from Lexington, Catherine and Tom met at and graduated from Transylvania University in the city. When they got engaged, they decided there was no better place to get married than Lexington, where they shared so many happy memories. With the help of their planner, Deanna Dillender of Great Expectations KY, they planned a Kentucky-themed wedding packed with eco-friendly details at the Grand Pavilion at the Kentucky Horse Park. It was also important that they keep their wedding eco-friendly, so they incorporated in-season, locally sourced flowers; recycled-paper invitations; and organic, locally grown cuisine.
