When it came to choosing their wedding day duds, Liz and Boris opted for a simple, elegant attire that embodied the evening’s laid-back vibe. Liz donned a light A-line gown with a V-neck, skinny straps and an open back, which she paired with an embellished belt and a pearl necklace and bracelet. “You wear it only once, but I’m still trying to think of how to incorporate it into another event in my life,” Liz says. Boris skipped the traditional tux in favor of a navy suit coat, gray trousers and a blue button-down for the ceremony, then changed into shorts and a linen shirt for the reception. “It was a big topic of conversation throughout our wedding planning,” Liz says.
