David was on a “self-imposed break” from the dating scene when a friend of his schemed to set him up on a blind date with the new girl in her office. After exchanging a few emails with Casey, David set up a date. While he was waiting for Casey outside the restaurant, he noticed another guy waiting there as well -- a guy who was much more neatly dressed and holding flowers to boot. When Casey came around the corner, she went right up to that guy and asked, “Are you David?” The real David sprang into action, and the mistaken identity proved a great way to break the ice.
