Love struck Evan Andersen quickly on the first night of his freshman year at Davidson College in North Carolina. “Crowds parted, lights got brighter, and Carrie Virginia Frazier stepped out of the crowd and into my life,” says the 25-year-old who’s now a student at Wake Forest University’s School of Law. It was after Carrie returned from a semester abroad in France that their friendship took a turn toward love. “Before I knew it, we didn’t want to be without each other,” says Carrie, a 26-year-old strategic planner. Six years after Evan set eyes on Carrie, he proposed on an early Easter morning in her New York City apartment.
