Caron and Alex met at Boston College in the spring of '98, when Caron and her friend, Marisa, picked up their dates at their dorm. That's where Caron met her date's roommate, Alex. Caron didn't have a romantic connection with Alex's roommate, but they all became fast friends. And even though she thought Alex was charming, he always had a swarm of girls around him.
