A proposal on the beach in Aruba set the tone for Carolyn Shannon and Neal Opalka’s wedding on the shores of Cape Cod. Carolyn and Neal met at work and were living in New York when they started planning their Massachusetts wedding. Because many of Carolyn’s family members lived on the Cape while she was growing up, she spent holidays and summers there, which made it an obvious choice for a destination wedding.
