Jeff Barbieri apparently knew the way to Carolyn Calisti's heart: a home-cooked meal, prepared in appreciation for her help with a freshman calculus class. The Bride Carolyn Calisti The Groom Jeff Barbieri The Date May 8 The two cooked up a little romance after that but the flames fizzled -- until the end of their junior year. They endured a long distance relationship for three and a half years until Carolyn arrived at Jeff's apartment one weekend to find candlelight, flowers, and Jeff with a small white box. They wed 18 months later in Pittsburgh.

We chose the church because it was a bright white church with beautiful stained glass windows...and the views outside the church were amazing, Carolyn says of Saint Mary of the Mount.
The Couple
Each of the five bridesmaids wore a Victorian lilac satin gown with a rhinestone-embellished neckline and gathers on an apron front.
The bride carried a bouquet of purple roses and stephanotis while her bridesmaids' bouquets included purple roses; light blue delphiniums; gerbera daisies; and tulips in pink, peach, blue, and purple.
