Buttercream Wedding Cake With Roses, Deer Topper

Guests had more than one treat for dessert. Jeremy’s parents filled their ice cream station with Rich Farm Ice Cream from his hometown. On top of that, the couple served a three-tiered chocolate wedding cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. Tons of pink peonies, roses, and gardenias, as well as burgundy roses and olive branches cascaded past each layer. Its gold topper alluded to their natural theme and the couple’s relationship. “Jeremy and I have a special connection to deer,” Emily says. “We always seem to see them when we’re hiking and we have a lovely watercolor of two deer playing in the forest in our home.”
