A Bright, Cheerful Orange-and-Blue Wedding at Stonetree Golf Club in Novato, California

Despite the hiccups that the ongoing pandemic brought to the wedding planning process for Emily and Chantel, the couple was ultimately able to celebrate a bright, summery and joy-filled wedding at Stonetree Golf Club in Novato, California. "Our wedding was initially scheduled for October 2020 but we postponed due to COVID-19. The new date was peak summertime in Novato which made for a beautiful day. Our floral design and color scheme were both based around navy blue and orange," explains the couple. "With the help of our awesome livestream vendor (who flew in from Chicago), we were even able to share our special day with family and friends in Australia who weren't able to travel!"

The couple's day began with a meaningful first look and ended with sweet s'mores treats for all the enjoy. The couple notes that the first look was what they were most anticipating about the wedding day. "We couldn't wait to see each other, and highly recommend this special moment enough. It really helped calm the excitable nerves and slow the day down for that moment." Another highlight of the wedding day at Stonetree Golf Club in Novato, California, was "being able to see family and friends in person for the first time in more than a year made every moment a favorite," explains the couple. "Tom and his livestream team ensured Em's family and friends could participate in the live toasts and it really felt like they were there the whole time with us." Ultimately, the couple's day came together beautifully, despite the changes that the pandemic brought about and Emily and Chantel emphasize that "things out of your control aren't worth worrying about."
