Planning an Arizona wedding from Virginia was no easy feat for Brianna and Nate, and it didn’t help that they’d selected a date just three months after the proposal. Luckily, with the help of Brianna’s mom and other Knotties, this duo was able to pull off the destination wedding of their dreams. The Bride Brianna Monteverde, 25, industrial engineer The Groom Nathan Ivey, 32, industrial engineer The Date February 18 After Nate’s beachside proposal, Brianna knew that she wanted to host her nuptials in her hometown of Phoenix. “I lived there all my life up until college,” Brianna explains, “and my family is still there.” Wanting Brianna and her family to feel at home for the celebration, Nate was completely onboard. “Plus, it wasn’t too hard to convince our East Coasters to head to Arizona in February,” the couple laughs.
