It was love at first sight when publicist Brandy Armendariz and entertainment marketer Ryan Fons laid eyes on each other at a movie premiere. They had been working together as client and consultant on a project, and speaking on the phone almost daily for an entire year. But it wasn’t until Brandy took a job at Disney (in the same building as Ryan) that romance blossomed.

Brandy wore a strapless, Spanish-inspired beaded gown by Helmi Couture.
Adding to the tropical allure, three different square centerpiece vases were filled with blue water and long white orchids. Other tables were treated to roses.
Brandy and Ryan hired security guards to block off the ceremony, which was held on a public beach in Santa Monica.
The groomsmen completed the beach theme by donning beige suit pants, light blue oxfords, and pink-and-blue striped ties from Banana Republic.
Light blue and crisp white programs were uniquely displayed in tall sand-filled cylinders.
Guests of Brandy and Ryan walked to Santa Monica Beach where they were greeted with parasols, personalized beach bags, and water.
The Couple
Although guests walked away with tons of goodies, the couple’s favorite was the customized beach bags.
Brandy and Ryan chose a three-tiered yellow butter cake with mango/peach mousse and Bavarian cream. “It was so delicious and beautiful,” Brandy says of the cake, which was decorated with fresh peaches and fresh peach roses.
