Their love story brings new meaning to the term wingman. Brandy Jones and Bankole Osimokun met through mutual friends when the whole crew went out for buffalo wings. The two clicked immediately, and dated for two and a half years before Bankole proposed during an amazing weekend of meaningful gifts representing truth, passion, serenity, nourishment, and commitment. Brandy's grandmother, Lillian Rice, did all of the floral arrangements with help from William Seth and Brandy's cousin Tina Johnson. The reception centerpieces consisted of ivy bowls filled with gravel and orange gerbera daises, roses, and violets plus white lace in the short arrangements, and oriental lilies, ivy, baby's breath, and a candle in the tall arrangements.
Brandy wore a beaded and lace gown designed by Jacqueline Bridals, which was altered into a strapless dress by designer Elaine Morgan.
The couple chose the perfect place to host their reception theme, a celebration of African and African-American culture and arts. There were seven galleries for the 220 guests to browse, and Brandy's grandmother created a waterfall surrounded by tropical flowers in one of the smaller rooms.

The three-tiered confection included vanilla cake with strawberry and cream filling, and lemon cake with lemon Bavarian filling.
