Boxed Wedding Favors

The couple made a donation to an organization called the Alliance for Language and Literacy (ALL) for Deaf Children instead of giving traditional favors. However, each person received a box that informed them of the donation and included a chocolate shovel inside. We chose this organization because I have two deaf parents and wanted to give back to the deaf community, says Jami. And since I am a teacher myself, giving to deaf children made the most sense to me.
