Bohemian Minimalist Wedding at Southbeach Hotel

Jenny O’Brien (27 and a social media influencer) and Colin Brothers’s (31 and an artist) style is equal parts chic and relaxed. After a roadside proposal with their two kids in tow, the pair planned a cozy-meets-minimalist wedding. “I can be particular, so I planned it all myself,” Jenny says. “I wanted simple, light and romantic.” Fall foliage covered the ceremony space and filled Jenny’s bouquet, while the couple dressed in cool, mod looks. The best moment came after, when the pair relaxed with their kids under the Florida sun.
Though Jenny originally intended to wear a casual slip dress throughout the day, she ended up choosing a fuller, more formal gown for the ceremony, much to her surprise. “I swore I would never wear a big wedding dress,” Jenny says. In keeping with the minimalist design scheme, Jenny and Colin chose a semi-naked cake with two layers: chocolate salted caramel and dulce de leche. Colin kept his footwear fresh with embroidered velvet slippers.
