A Blush Southern Wedding at The Debordieu Club in Georgetown, South Carolina
Taylor Morris (34 and a life science saleswoman) and Pete Metzger (34 and a hotel franchise salesman) met for the first time on a blind date, which Taylor was less than thrilled about. The two hit it off and developed a strong friendship before Pete asked Taylor to be his girlfriend-- grade school style. Nearly a year after meeting for the first time Pete asked Taylor for her hand, on bended knee, on the Shem Creek Pier in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Friends joined the happy couple immediately following the proposal for a rooftop engagement party at the restaurant Taylor and Pete visited on that first dreaded blind date. When planning their big day, Taylor and Pete chose to host a full day affair at The DeBordieu Club, a picturesque country club just outside Charleston. Taylor wanted a classic southern celebration with touches of sophisticated glamour. By following timeless traditions to a tee, incorporating crystal accents, and donning elegant attire, Taylor and Pete made the bride's vision a reality. The two said 'I do' during an outdoor Christian ceremony, followed by a cocktail hour and reception, also hosted at The DeBordieu Club. Photographer Pasha Belman was there to capture every kiss, tear, and meaningful moment during the couple's big day.
