Shereen and Thomas looked to their venue—Villa Antonia—for design inspiration for their blush, gold and silver celebration. “We loved the old-world style of the estate and were drawn to its architecture,” Shereen says. The festivities began with an outdoor ceremony on an arched terrace overlooking the Hill Country that included eight wedding sponsors, a Filipino tradition. “These nominees are typically older married aunts, uncles or family friends whom the couple looks up to as role models in marriage,” Shereen says. Shereen’s soft-white, off-the-shoulder lace gown had removable straps that she omitted for the reception. Thomas accessorized with a solid navy bow tie, a navy pocket square with white polka dots and monogrammed silver cuff links. Blush, gold and burgundy accents filled the reception alongside fresh pineapples spray-painted gold and tropical leaves—both favorites of Shereen. Guests sat for roasted beef medallions with salsa verde and baked truffle mac and cheese before hitting the dance floor with glow sticks. The night capped with a semi-naked buttercream tres leches cake and a sparkler exit.
