After returning home from shopping with her mother and grandmother one afternoon, Josh said he had a surprise for Kala. She was a little nervous about what the surprise was and how much it cost, since they had recently started construction on a new home. Josh escorted Kala to the back porch where a beautiful new cast iron mailbox sat. Josh opened the mailbox and pulled out a small package addressed to Kala at their soon-to-be address. He then opened the box and got on one knee and asked her to marry him. Of course, Kala said yes. The ring was an oval-shape solitaire diamond in a halo setting.
