After visiting several sites, this couple was drawn to The Bowery Hotel’s unique charm. Their planner, Annie Lee, who never likes to fight a venue’s existing décor, embraced the old-world New York vibe and conjured up an air of vintage luxury with dark woods, weathered metallics and a muted palette. Slightly wild compositions of classic blooms and organic elements in antique hues hit just the right balance of sophistication and unfinished roughness. All of the evening’s surroundings worked to complement Beth’s bustier-bodice gown, which resembled an 1880s corset with a contemporary take on embroidery.
