In the Spring of 2003, Becky and Ben were introduced by mutual friends following a Chicago Cubs playoff game. Shortly after, they continued to bump into each other -- literally. I decided to go for a run one evening after work in late May, and I bumped into Ben, who happened to be running at the same intersection at the exact same moment, recalls Becky. They continued their run together, and the next day he called and asked if he could take her out to dinner.
