Beach Themed Wedding at the Water Table in Virginia Beach

Dachia Hall, 36, an appointment coordinator, and Robbie Bolden, 36, an assistant principal, met as incoming freshman attending Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia. Although Dachia ended up leaving the university their junior year and the two of them lost touch for a while, 15 years later, Robbie reached out to Dachia and their relationship quickly escalated. Dachia eventually moved with her son to be closer to Robbie and his son in Chesapeake, Virginia and was proposed to by Robbie at the beach in Croatan, Virginia. Going along with their mutual love for the beach (now more than ever before) the couple had their wedding at the Water Table in Virginia Beach, and coming as no surprise, decided on a beach theme. "We wanted to get married on the beach, but the logistics an the possibility of bad weather just didn't work for us," says Dachia. "The Water Table had these beautiful windows lining the two sides of the building. You can see the ocean from the windows , and at night, the marina and boats light up!" The color palette of bright blue, white and tan complimented the beach theme that was incorporated into almost every detail of the wedding, from the bouquet with seashells to the fishing nets and starfish centerpieces and the cupcakes with chocolate shell toppers.
