It must have been the margaritas. After getting each other's email addresses from a mutual friend, Boulder undergrad, Barbara exchanged messages with Aaron agreeing to drive him from the airport to Breckenridge where he could fulfill his lifelong dream to live in Colorado. THE BRIDE Barbara Rage, 29, aerospace engineer THE GROOM Aaron Dehne, 31, financial analyst THE DATE September 6 It was the margarita mix he picked up at a layover in Houston -- as well as similar backgrounds (both grew up in the Midwest, have two older brothers, and love to camp and snowboard) -- that won over Barb. Four and a half years later, during a signature weekend of margaritas and camping, Aaron proposed. We made all the phone calls and the collective response seemed to be...it's about time! Barb says.

The Couple
Barb chose a light ivory mikado and tulle, empire-waist gown. The tulle of the Pronovias strapless gown wrapped around the bust and fell into a long waterfall look in back, and was wrapped in two layers for the bustle.
The Location
The four groomsmen and two ushers wore simple black tuxes with black straight ties.
A light drizzle moved the very Colorado ceremony indoors in front of a huge stone fireplace, which, according to Barb, made for a more intimate setting.
The bride carried blue and deep purple hydrangeas (her fave) with white stephanotis and purple waxflowers. Similar to Barb, the bridesmaids carried colorful hydrangea bouquets.

The Escort Cards
Throughout the lodge, blue accents with deep purple and red undertones popped up again. Sheer periwinkle runners topped with a cranberry ribbon covered the tables, named after rivers the couple has kayaked. Each table featured a galvanized tin vase with vibrant hydrangeas and greenery. Tiny track lights brightened the overcast day, as the 110 guests enjoyed mellow music. The Bridesmaid Bouquet buffet featured local specialties including smoked rainbow trout and peppered Colorado beef.
