Balloons and Pampas Grass Set Apart This Wedding at the Union on Eighth in Georgetown, Texas

Eye-catching textures were in abundance at Daniela and Brent's wedding in Texas. From velvet bridesmaids dresses in a warm mustard hue to a dramatic white balloon floral arch and plenty of pampas grass, each décor item added to southwestern vibes seen at the  warehouse. To anchor the wedding's aesthetic, Daniela selected a palette that included, "ivory, blush and mauve tones. Pink is my favorite color so I wanted to incorporate it throughout the wedding." To that, she layered in plenty of velvet. "My bridesmaids wore marigold velvet dresses, our cocktail tables were covered in rose quartz and blush velvet linens and the groom wore a burgundy velvet suit jacket," she shares. When it came to the floral elements, Daniela, "went with table runners that were composed of eucalyptus with pops of floral in ivory, blush and mauve. We made the head table a bit more special by adding geometric terrariums with succulents sprinkled in. The ceremony installation was one of my favorite details of our wedding. The florist did a design of large floral clusters that framed us as we stood at the altar. Since I wanted this design to be bit more modern than the table runners, they added more muted and bleached seasonal foliage and my favorite, pampas grass. I loved that the installation was able to be repurposed after the ceremony by the dance floor and next to the bar so we could enjoy them all day." In addition to all the floral elements, Daniela recalls the balloon installation as one of her favorite parts of the whole setup. "One of my favorite details at our wedding was the balloon installation that framed the big blue door at our venue. It made a great background for photos and was such a fun feature. People walking around downtown Georgetown were stopping to take pictures in front of it throughout the whole day!"
