Sometimes mom knows best. Such was the case for Ashley and Adam. When Ashley went to work at her mom’s company for a summer, her mother came up with the idea for the two to meet. Ashley’s mom gave Adam her daughter’s phone number, and a few days later Ashley and Adam had set up a date for dinner and a movie. At the end of the evening when the two had said their goodbyes, Ashley called her mom and told her that she had met the guy she was going to marry. The Bride Ashley Pugh, 22, case manager The Groom Adam Kleiber, 31, design engineer The Date June 23 One year to the day after their first date, Adam proposed while the two were in Keystone, Colorado, overlooking the mountains. Soon plans were under way for an at-home summer wedding with a bright punchy color palette and a fireworks display to boot.

Ashley and Adam’s five-tiered square cake was decorated with fresh flowers in the wedding day colors. A large green and red rhinestone K monogram topped it off.

The Favors
Small, low, square glass vases decorated each table and were filled with limes and colorful red gerbera daisies, pink roses, and green hydrangeas. The groom’s mother and her friends created the centerpieces for the day.
Galvanized pails filled with Fuji mums, red gerbera daisies, and orange roses were hung from the church pews with red ribbons.
Ashley’s six bridesmaids wore red, knee-length dresses tied off with green sashes. The groomsmen coordinated in traditional tuxes and lime green ties.
During the ceremony, the 85-foot aisle was decorated with a full-length ivory runner and red, Jade, and orange rose petals. Instead of using a candle for the unity lighting, the couple used an antique lamp that had belonged to Ashley’s late grandfather.
Round tables topped with bright red tablecloths were set beneath a lit tent in Adam’s parents’ backyard. The dance floor was set up in front of the head table, and a bar was set up on the bunkhouse porch.
