Archetectural Orange Wedding Cakes

"My favorite bakery in the East Bay is Masse’s Pastries in Berkeley, so deciding on the vendor was a no-brainer. Kailin liked the deconstructed look, so we had Masse’s make 3 different sized cakes and set them up on different leveled cake stands. The cake flavors were coconut and mango, mocha walnut, and pistachio and cherry," says Kailin. "On top, we had a bridesmaid (the same one who made the flower girls’ origami flower balls) make paper Chinese zodiac animals as cake toppers -- a rat for Kailin and a cow for Chuck. They were super cute. We also wanted to include a variety of other sweets, including Masse’s macarons (salted caramel, lavender and earl grey, and yuzu) and my favorite candies from Taiwan, almond nougats from Sugar & Spice."
