Anne and Sean met when mutual friends introduced them in 2004, just before the Red Sox won the World Series! They hit it off immediately and began dating, and then moved in together a couple of years later. After they unpacked, Sean began what Anne called a “soft launch” of actually getting engaged; he’d slip in “What ifs” into their conversations, and even started calling her his wife. “I was like, ‘Slow your roll, Sean!’” Anne jokes.
