Sometimes, a simple detail like the time of day can dictate an entire wedding theme. Such was the case for Anne and Eric, whose mid-morning ceremony came with a twist: a citrus twist. The ceremony was at 10 a.m., so we chose to have a brunch reception, says Anne. In keeping with the brunch scene, we decided to play off of a fresh citrus theme. We went home, rested, and then attended two parties held in our honor that evening, says Anne. That's the lovely part of an early ceremony: the most wonderful day of your life lasts a little longer!

At each table, guests found a pale yellow menu card with a watercolor of lemon halves around the perimeter.
The star of the colorful bridal party was the flower girl, Anne and Eric's 2-year-old daughter, Alexandra. Dressed in a pale yellow dress with an empire waist and a coral sash to match the bridesmaid dresses, she pranced down the aisle just as she had practiced for the past six months.
Anne's bridesmaids were dressed in coral and lemon yellow to accent the citrus colors of the celebration.
Anne and Eric's ceremony took place at The Village Chapel at Weaver Park, a small country chapel.
