Andrea and Bryan's wedding dazzled with vintage style long after the lights were knocked out by inclement weather. The Bride Andrea Brown, 31 The Groom Bryan Moore, 31 The Date May 29 High school sweethearts Andrea and Bryan dated into college, and then, like many couples, decided to “see what else was out there.” But nothing compared to their first loves, and the two reunited seven years later over Thanksgiving on the Eastern Shore of Fairhope, Alabama. After dating three and a half years, Bryan gave Andrea, a professional jewelry designer, a book about ring design. “I didn’t think anything of it, until I looked up and saw him down on one knee,” she recalls. “He held up a beautiful pear-shaped diamond in a temporary setting and said, ‘I thought you could use that as inspiration for making a ring for this.’ I could barely see it through my tears!”

The Couple
Situated on Andrea and Bryan's guest tables, heirloom Limoges china and other vintage vases held pink peonies, orchids, sweet peas, ranunculus, and hydrangeas.
The Reception Decor
The round and square tables were topped with off-white damask tablecloths and runners trimmed with crystal beads, all handmade by Andrea’s mother.
With the groomsmen in rented three-button suits and pink neckties by BCBG, Bryan wore a Calvin Klein suit with a pink tie to match Andrea’s sash. He also wore abalone pearl and sterling cuff links that she had made for him herself.
The Boutonniere
Before she even tried it on, Andrea fell in love with “Sadie,” her strapless, satin charmeuse gown with beaded French lace overlay by Melissa Sweet. The low-cut back featured scalloped lace edges with loops of a pink satin sash, and the bride had spaghetti straps added for comfort. “It was a perfect match for my vintage theme,” says Andrea.
