Dustin (29, self-employed) and Sarah (28, GM Gumbo's) met in Fort Collins, Colorado, and became very close friends. Over the course of six years, Dustin insisted on them dating, but Sarah held off because of their great friendship. When the two moved to Destin and Austin respectively, it was their visits to each other that helped them realize they were meant to be together.

Sarah chose glamorous patent leather, almond toe heels in bright red to go with her wedding dress.
The couple chose The Allan House in Austin because they wanted both an outdoor environment and an urban feel. "We were six blocks from downtown, yet we still had that canopy of trees making us feel we were out of town," says the bride.
The bride loves red and black, so her white cake had a black ribbon around each tier with a cascade of red roses down one side. The groom's cake was a black and white clapboard, with his bride's name as the director of the show!
The bride's bouquet was a classic bundle of red roses. Each of her bridesmaids carried a bouquet of snow white roses to contrast.
The canopy of trees disguised the urban Austin ceremony setting.
White paper lanterns hung from the large tree canopy over the ceremony and reception. The lanterns provided decoration during the day and lighting once the sun set.
Red linens covered each table, set with triangular black cloth napkins and finished with a vase of bright red roses in the center.
Black linens with bright red roses covered the couple's sweetheart table.
Sarah and Dustin shared their first kiss as husband and wife in the courtyard of The Allan House.
Sarah wanted a formal wedding, so all of her bridesmaids wore the same one-shoulder red dress with black lace. The groomsmen wore black suits with matching red ties.
Sarah and Dustin exited their reception to their friends and family waving sparklers.
